These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of our website www.epocket.co.za (the "Website") and the "ePocket" mobile application (the "App"). Collectively, the Website and App are referred to as the "Platform." Please review these Terms carefully before using our services. If you do not agree to these Terms, please uninstall the App and refrain from using the Platform. By downloading, installing, and/or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms and other ePocket policies (including but not limited to the Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, etc.), which will become binding as of the date you access or use the Platform.
Eligibility to Use the Platform
The Platform is intended for:
- Individuals who are 18 years of age or older.
- Corporate legal entities, such as registered companies.
Specific provisions may apply depending on your country of residence.
Use of Platform and Services
All commercial and contractual terms are solely agreed upon by and between the users (e.g., Buyers and Merchants). These terms may include, but are not limited to, pricing, taxes, shipping costs, payment methods, payment terms, delivery periods, and warranties related to goods and services.
ePocket acts as a facilitator and does not control, endorse, or participate in any commercial terms agreed upon by Buyers and Merchants. Additionally, ePocket does not hold any title or interest over goods or services transacted on the Platform and is not liable for any obligations arising from contracts between Buyers and Merchants.
By using ePocket, you acknowledge that ePocket is not responsible for:
- The quality, suitability, or availability of goods or services provided by Merchants.
- Inaccurate, delayed, or incorrect fulfillment of orders.
- Any discrepancies between the actual goods/services and those depicted on the Platform.
- Merchant errors, such as incorrect order delivery.
All descriptions, images, and prices of goods/services displayed on the Platform are based on information provided by Merchants and may change without notice.
Personal Information and Account Creation
To use ePocket's services, you must create an account on our Platform. When creating an account, you will need to provide personally identifiable information such as your name, phone number, and email address. We may also collect additional demographic details like your zip code and other profile-related data.
You are encouraged to manage the information you share, keeping in mind the importance of protecting your personal data and identity. You can update and revise your profile at any time through the Platform.
